An expired licence means an appliance with no protection

Once its subscription lapses a firewall still passes traffic, but it stops updating threat rules, web filtering and antivirus scanning. The network looks healthy and is not. So we record every licence expiry date at installation and warn you early enough to renew without a gap.

Sophos or FortiGate

Both do the same job, with differences in how they are managed and priced. We recommend one over the other based on your traffic volume, the number of branches, whether you need encrypted traffic inspected, and whether you have technical staff to run the appliance or would rather we managed the policies.
