We supply servers and storage new, refurbished or used. New units carry the manufacturer's warranty with the ownership record registered in your company's name; for refurbished and used units the condition and the warranty are stated on each unit's own page before you buy.

Why the configuration matters more than the hardware

A powerful server set up badly is worse than a modest one set up properly. We hand over a machine that is working, documented and tested — not a box in the server room.

New, refurbished or used

Not every company needs a new server. A new unit carries the manufacturer's warranty and a longer service life; a refurbished one suits test and backup environments at a fraction of the cost. Every unit's condition and warranty are stated on its own page before you buy, and we do not sell used hardware as new.

The specifications people forget

• How many memory slots are already occupied — later expansion depends on it
• The storage controller and whether it supports the RAID level you need
• The number of power supplies: one means an outage at the first failure
• Network port speed, and whether it matches the switch you already have
• Rack depth and the cooling load in the server room
