Build an E-commerce Store in Egypt

Online stores wired to your stock, payment gateways and couriers, with an order dashboard and reports the owner can read without help.

Building an online store in Egypt is not the same as copying a template from abroad: cash on delivery is still a main payment option rather than an exception, shipping is priced per governorate, and returns are part of daily operations. We build on that basis, and hand the store over so you can run it yourself.

What the work includes

  • A product catalogue with categories and attributes (size, colour, weight), tied to stock so a sold-out item cannot be ordered
  • Local payment gateways — cards, wallets and cash on delivery — connected to whatever your bank or payment provider offers you
  • Courier integration: issuing the waybill, pricing by governorate and weight, and shipment tracking in the customer's account
  • An order dashboard from new order to delivery or return, with a log of who changed a status and when
  • Operational reports: best sellers, dead stock, return rate, and net collection after shipping and commissions
  • Search basics: a clean URL structure, a real description for every product, and load times that hold up on mobile

How we start

We begin by settling the products, the pricing method and the shipping and returns policy, because those decisions shape the system. You then get an early version to log into and put a full test order through before the rest is built.

Handover and afterwards

At handover the store sits on your own domain and hosting, you hold the full administrator credentials, and your team is trained on adding products, following orders and pulling reports. We agree a post-launch support period and write its scope into the contract.

FAQ

If we end the contract, what do I keep?

The domain and hosting are in your company's name from day one, and you hold the full administrator credentials. Products, customers and orders can be exported as readable files, and we hand a copy of the database and the store files to whoever you choose to work with next. We hold nothing back that would stop you moving.

Who contracts with the payment gateway, and who pays its commission?

The contract is between your company and the bank or payment provider directly, because the merchant account and the settlements are in your name. Approval, how long it takes and which documents are required are the provider's decision, not ours. The commission is deducted from every transaction and is borne by you; it is separate from what the build costs. Our part is to connect the gateway to the store and test real transactions before launch.

Do you guarantee sales or a top Google ranking after launch?

No. Sales depend on the product, the price, the stock and the marketing, and Google decides its own rankings. What we can commit to is what we control: a fast store, a sound URL and product-description structure, payment and shipping integrations that have been tested with real transactions, and reports that show you where you stand. Anyone promising you a ranking or a sales figure is selling you talk.
